Global qualifications
We are currently compiling a comprehensive list of various IDs and certificates, along with their underlying legitimation, to improve access legitimations and combat improvisation and fraud.
Many qualified assistance dog teams do not have access to a validated certification and ID. This often means they have to argue their case at every access barrier. Others are issued an ID by their government or assistance dog associations, without this being universally valid.
In addition, the assistance dog concept is under serious attack from imitation: IDs that are issued without proper evaluation, confusing gatekeepers.
